U.S.N. Contaminated Water Diving

Project Description:
Molchan Marine Sciences is collaborating with Phoenix International to assist the U.S. Navy Supervisor of Diving in defining the next steps in promoting safety and awareness in Contaminated Water Diving. This project entails defining and improving upon current underwater contaminated site identification, updating the Contaminated Water Diving Guidance Manual, and diver documentation.July 2006 Molchan Marine Sciences participated in a Contaminated Water Diving Workshop which included leaders from the federal government, academia, public and private sectors dedicated to diving operations.
