Project Description:
Molchan Marine Sciences modernized the US Navy Salvage Manuals to reflect current salvage practices and use of new technologies. Salvage Manual subject matter included: basic salvage naval architecture, stability, harbor clearance, salvage and wreck removal, oil removal, firefighting, ship salvage software, underwater navigation and ROV technologies. (NAVSEA contract N0024-03-D-4205, Non-Operational Delivery Order 0002)
Co-Authored a technical salvage report entitled “EHIME MARU Technical Salvage Report” reflecting the multiple assets, technologies and procedures used to retrieve, recover and reposition the Japanese fishing training vessel, EHIME MARU, and its crew.
